Medical Second Opinion Services provides two types of consultation services: Our
primary service is to connect a patient who has been diagnosed with a medical
condition on our list, with a physician who specializes in that arena. This will
be done through a private phone conversation. Please review our
services page for details of included diagnoses.
Our second type of service is to provide people who have a diagnosis not on our
specialty list with a doctor who meets that specialized need. We have on staff a
medical advocate with twelve years of experience, suggesting and connecting
patients with doctors who will give their second opinion on specific diagnoses.

To assist you, the patient, in obtaining a second professional opinion from a qualified physician who specializes in your particular diagnosis. To provide the patient and their families with information that will enable them to make decisions about healthcare.
In the Patients Best Interest
Patients and family members are sometimes asked to make important decisions regarding treatment options. In this case it is quite common for a second opinion to be requested so that the diagnosis and all possible treatment options can be fully understood. A patient may want to know the prognosis (prediction of the probable course, outcome and likelihood of recovery from a disease) before proceeding with the recommended treatment.
Our Fee's
Our primary service to provide a private phone consultation with a specialty doctor on one of the medical conditions contained on our list is $350 for a 30 minute phone consultation.
Our secondary service places an individual
who has a condition not on our list, in contact with our medical
advocate who will work with them to find a doctor for a second
opinion. This cost is $35 per hour.
